Vuzix在2013年的国际消费电子展上公布了M100,将M100定位为Google Glass的竞争对手。Vuzix公司推出的这款智能眼镜——Vuzix Smart Glasses M100采用了Android冰淇淋三明治系统,M100的外形看上去与蓝牙耳机的造型很像,包含一片虚拟显示目镜。它可支持GPS、WiFi、蓝牙传输。M100还可支持720p高清摄录。据悉,M100内部的头部探测传感器,在未来可实现与iOS或Android设备配合使用。

2016年Vuzix正在打造一款能够将可穿戴技术和增强现实技术融合在一起的设备,它叫Blade 3000智能太阳镜。日前,这家公司公布了这款设备的配置数据并表示将在明年1月份的CES上发布。据了解,Blade 3000将通过公司特有的“波导光学”和Cobra II显示屏引擎技术为用户打造出一款如同智能手表一样的可穿戴设备。不同于Google Glass和微软HoloLens的是,Vuzix的Blade 3000更加轻便并且更贴近人们的生活。

Blade 3000支持WiFi和蓝牙两种传输途径,用户可以将其跟手机进行配对。当完成配对之后,眼镜就会在抬头式显示屏上显示来自手机的通知、GPS地图导航等数据。 Vuzix表示,当用户戴上Blade 3000之后他们几乎不再需要从口袋里拿出手机,因为除了充当第二显示屏之外,它还集成了一个高清摄像头、一个动态追踪器以及一个触控板。虽然Blade 3000跑的是Android系统,但它同时兼容Android和iOS两大移动平台。


 

3.发展历程

Magic Leap is seeking Technical Artists to create high-end CG content for Mixed Reality experiences. Technical Artists will be responsible for developing the final look of produced content and assisting with the flow of assets and data through multiple departments and toolchains. Qualified candidates should possess both strong visual sensibilities and deep technical knowledge of computer graphics methods.

Responsibilities

Work in 3D and game-engine applications (Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity) to create and deliver Mixed Reality experiences.
Help establish the look of CG characters and environments.
Assemble and keep track of assets and data from multiple disciplines, including models, textures, animation, simulations, etc..
Hands-on artist responsibilities include look development, lighting, layout, post-effects, and render optimization.
Work closely with all departments to establish technical and artistic requirements for final content, especially in the area of quality vs. performance tradeoffs.
Establish best technical practices and propose workflow improvements in concert with pipeline engineers.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a technical director or technically inclined back-end CG artist for games or feature film.
Excellent visual sensibilities, as demonstrated by a demo reel or portfolio.
Thorough knowledge and comfort level with the technical aspects of the CG production process, from asset creation to final compositing or real-time rendering.
Understanding of low-level elements of CG pipelines and how they function.
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Strong planning and communication skills.
Scripting, programming, and game-engine experience a plus.
